CoBam on the Job Trainees Reorientation with Parents
the College of Business and Management (CoBAM) successfully conducted the On-the-Job Trainees’ Reorientation with Parents at the La Carlota City College – Cubay Campus Covered Court. The activity was attended by fourth-year students and their parents from the different programs under CoBAM. The program formally started with a prayer, led by Ariane T. Catin from BSBA FM4-C followed by the singing of the Philippine National Anthem. Mary Kris S. Teodorico, MBA, Program Head of BSOA, delivered the opening remarks and warmly welcomed the participants. An intermission number from Ella Magayon, LPT, was presented, after which Michelle L. Borromeo, MBA, OJT Coordinator, discussed the On-the-Job Training requirements, guidelines, and expectations. Another intermission number was presented by Edmar C. Perater from BSBA FM 2-D, and John Mark D. Pamolino from BPA 3-A. Important reminders regarding students’ responsibilities, discipline, safety, and proper conduct during their OJT were also emphasized by Engr. Hazel B. Nobleza, MAEd, CoBAM faculty. Another intermission number by Khristyl Mae Almario from BSBA FM4-C followed, leading to an open forum where parents were able to raise their concerns and clarifications regarding the OJT program. The activity concluded with the closing remarks delivered by Almira A. Castillo, MBA, Program Head of BSBA FM. Lenny Mae O. Galoyo, MAEd and GL G. Talamillo, LPT, hosted the recent event. The program officially ended with the singing of the LCCC Alma Mater Song, leaving parents well-informed and reassured about their children’s upcoming On-the-Job Training journey. Caption | Ariane T. 4th Day Feasibility Study Final Defense for the student entrepreneurs of La Carlota City College
December 9, 2025 marked the beginning of the 4-day Feasibility Study Final Defense for the student entrepreneurs of La Carlota City College. On the first day alone, 11 young entrepreneurs from BSBA-FM 4 confidently presented their innovative business concepts each one a product of months of research, planning, and passion. SYMA–LCCC Participates in ISAF Leadership Seminar - SOLARA October 18, 2025 SYMA–LCCC joined the ISAF Leadership Seminar last October 18, 2025, with the theme “Crowning Leadership with Light”. The event featured two guest speakers who shared insights on budgeting, project proposals, parliamentary procedure and leadership. The first guest speaker, Dr. Ligaya E. Fuentes discussed the importance of budgeting for organizations and individuals, the role of project proposals in ensuring structured and transparent events, and the basics of parliamentary procedure. Mr. Ken Paolo Gilo spoke on student leadership and community involvement. He emphasized that while anyone can lead, true leaders are those who are trusted and followed. He also introduced six types of power: physical power, wealth, state action, social norms, ideas, and the power of numbers. The seminar served as a meaningful opportunity for SYMA–LCCC members to deepen their understanding of leadership and renew their commitment to responsible service.
