September 2025 LET Results are in! La Carlota City College – College of Education produced 266 newly licensed professional teachers from the recently held Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) conducted on September 21, 2025. A total of 43 LPTs for the elementary level and 223 LPTs for the secondary level were among the 21,967 elementary teachers out of 43,035 examinees (51.04%) and 57,729 secondary teachers out of 79,493 examinees (72.62%) nationwide who passed this year’s September 2025 LET. EDUCasadyahan 2025 with the theme, "COED: Celebrating Our Enriching Diversity through Philippine Culture."
A vibrant showcase of passion, purpose, and pedagogy—where future educators shine through creativity, culture, and commitment to lifelong learning. This celebration of brilliance and creativity brings together future educators in a whirlwind of talent, teamwork, and tradition. From dazzling performances to insightful showcases, we honor the heart of education: passion, purpose, and people. BPED dominated the EDUCpaligsahan arena, sweeping most of the games including Akala ko ikaw ay Aken, SACKenya Parin, Ako ay may Lobo, and Ishoot Mo! Ishoot Mo! Ishoot Muna ang Cup!, while victory for Ikot Ikot Lang went to BSEd Filipino. In the Impromptu Speech category, BSEd Filipino emerged as champion, followed by BSEd English as first runner-up and BECEd as second runner-up. Meanwhile, the Tagisan ng Talino competition was a clean sweep by the Mathematics Program, with Julie Ann Mondia as champion, Leizle Anne Estelloso as first runner-up, and Nikka Arroyo as second runner-up. For the COEd King and Queen 2025, Jay Scotly Sitchon from BSEd Mathematics and Ericka Bautista from Bachelor of Physical Education were crowned King and Queen, respectively. The Cavalcade 2025 results highlighted Pack of Eye-glints as the champion, followed by Pack of Fangs, Pack of Hackles, and Pack of Claws as first, second, and third runners-up. Best Solo Performer awards were given to Patrick De Asis (Male Student), Kelsey Semilla (Female Student), Mr. Arnold Gidaya (Male Instructor), and Prof. Reym Nicole C. Gonzales (Female Instructor). For the Best Cultural Dress category, winners were Jenrose Tubilla (Female), Adrean Rey Tionson (Male), and Mark Cordero (LGBT). This isn’t just a celebration—it’s a cultural explosion of color, creativity, and community. COLLEGE NEWS | Nacion Snaps up Fourth Place in COPRE 2025
The College Voice Chief Photojournalist Ferdinand Nacion won Fourth Place in the College Press Conference and Awards (COPRE) 2025 with the theme, “Climate of Change: Writing the Future of Resiliency,” held at the Iloilo Grand Hotel yesterday, November 27. Ferdinand Nacion, a fourth-year Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Filipino, competed in the Photojournalism (English) category, where participants were asked to capture images showing “Everyday acts of resiliency.” His entry consisted of four images entitled “The Quiet Strength of the Wheel Man: Getting Strong by Fixing Things Every Day,” “The Long Road: An Old Man's Strength in Counting the Day's Earnings,” “Day by Day, Slice by Slice: A Man's Strength Found in Selling Fruit,” and “Strong Hands, Simple Work: The Key Man Who Always Finds a Way.” Students and advisers from various colleges across the region participated in the annual competition. COPRE aims to train and recognize young campus journalists in various areas including news writing, feature writing, sports writing, editorial, copyreading, and editorial cartooning. — Congratulations, Nacion!
