‎ The Frisbee team of La Carlota City College (LCCC) kept the disc flying as they secured 3rd place against the El Gremio with a four-point lead, 9-5, during the MassKaraSports 2026 Ultimate Frisbee Tournament held at North Hill, Megaworld, Bacolod City, October 11.‎ ‎Steady momentum landed the team in the top 3 after they survived two days of intense games against different participating teams in the inter-school category of the tournament.‎ ‎Overall, Central Philippine State University (CPSU) placed first and University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos (UNO-R) placed second, while La Carlota City College (LCCC) clinched third place.‎ ‎The LCCC Frisbee Team is led by Team Captain AJ Lerio from BS Agriculture, together with members Rams Sison, Justin Diaz, Kheo Gomez, Rodney Mogar, John Derek Baltazar, and Ildefonso Lopez IV from the College of Agriculture; Federico Montesino, Viola Marie Compania, Alysa Garilao, and Vincent Ticao from the College of Business and Management; Hannah Vera Magillano, KC Saavedra, and Dwight Vecinal (Alumni) from the College of Criminal Justice; Aira Patnubay, Gift Soguilon, and Joana Marie Gracia from the College of Education; and Dinmar Jallorina from the College of Liberal Arts. ‎ ‎Invictus, LCCCians!

‎ Judokas from the La Carlota City College Judo Club (LCCCJC) of the College of Criminal Justice threw their way to victory as they took home four (4) golds, four (4) silvers, and two (2) bronze medals at the Negros Island Region (NIR) Invitational Judo Tournament held at the Main Atrium, SM City Bacolod, today, September 26.Among the judokas who took home medals were Ahron David Liquez, who bagged gold in the -55kg category, and Andrie Monteras, who secured gold in the -60kg category; Sherluck Kate Sapin, gold in the -48kg category; Jorena Joy Mondejar, gold in the +78kg category; Looren Pacheco, who clinched silver in the -55kg category; John Kairo Perez and Darryl Gallano, who added silver medals in the -81kg category, respectively; and Blessie Mae Padilla, silver in the +78kg category and sole representative from the College of Agriculture. The bronze medalists were Andre Miguel Rojo in the -66kg category and Kent Adrian Angelico in the -60kg category, while there were no participants in the -73kg category.‎Other judokas who participated were Jose Rizaldy Tobias, Joshue Grijaldo, and Fritz Andrew Benitez from the College of Criminal Justice, who also represented LCCC in their respective categories.‎The event was organized by BCD Judo Club and the Association of Negros Judo Clubs (ANJC), in partnership with SM City Bacolod.‎The LCCCJC Judo Club continues to bring pride to the college after a strong campaign against athletes across NIR.‎Invictus, LCCCians!

La Carlota City College officially concluded its weeklong LCCClympics 2026 with an awarding ceremony held at La Carlota City College Cubay Campus today, March 27. Five colleges gathered to recognize the achievements of students who excelled in sports by awarding minor and major awards to winners from various colleges, as well as naming the Most Valuable Players (MVPs). The event officially concluded by announcing its overall champion, where the College of Education dominated and secured the highest total number of winning points and was named the overall champion of this year's LCCClympics. The first runner-up was the College of Criminal Justice, followed by the College of Agriculture, the College of Business and Management, and the College of Liberal Arts. This milestone serves as a testament to the unwavering dedication of LCCCians, fostering unity and uplifting the spirit of sportsmanship in every winning and losing game.

The Judo Club of La Carlota City College (LCCC) emerged victorious with the highest number of medals at the 1st Mayor Mayette Invitational Judo Tournament 2026, held at Bago City College Covered Court, Bago City, yesterday, February 14. Overall, the club bagged 18 medals from its College of Criminal Justice representatives, including seven (7) golds won by John Kairo Perez and Andrie Monteras (Colored Belt Category), and Janel Estrada, Edrich John Matias, Jorena Joy Mondejar, Andre Miguel Rojo, and Edmark Barbas (White Belt Category). Five (5) silver medals were secured by Ryne Palacios and Ahron David Liquez (Colored Belt Category), while Fritz Andrew Benitez, Jayvie Carnecer, and Jose Rizaldy Tobias added to the tally in the White Belt Category. Six (6) bronze medals in the White Belt Category came from Justine Soner, Kent Adrian Angelico, Loreen Pacheco, Hermil John Guillermo, Cyrin Glaiza Tenerife, and Sherluck Kate Sapin. Also participated in the event were Crystal Mae Cantallopez, Kert Marquez, Justin Genton, Rio Jesser Piorque, Leemar Camandona, Jhon Madrona, Reymary Estañol, John Carlo Zamora, Chee Anne Mingao, Ramilyn Rodrigo, Jayden James Sotto from the College of Criminal Justice, and Mickey John Berto and Dhonn Quibete from the College of Business and Management. Together with the representatives was one of their Judo coaches, Mrs. Anchenet S. Malicse. The club is under the supervision of Mr. Stephen V. Flora, Judo Club Adviser, and Sir Peter John B. Ambid, Judo Coach. This achievement stands as a testament to the determination and perseverance of the Judokas, bringing glory and pride to both the club and the institution. Invictus LCCCians!

Team La Carlota Soars to New Heights at ROTC Games 2024 National Championship The team of La Carlota City won the regional championship and got into the National ROTC Game. LCCC BS Criminology students Lianne Marie V. Ardeña, Jethro Yaun, Jerann S. Mamar (graduate), Aaron Selda Jr. (graduate), Angelo Jonas Ostan (graduate), are making waves at the Philippine ROTC Game National Championship in Tagaytay. Lianne Ardeña, a standout fighter for the team, won her match against a Mindanao opponent in a Kickboxing female category. She won by Technical Knockout (TKO) in the first round and secured the spot moving to the semi finals. Jethro Yaun, powered his way to a silver medal in the thrilling 100-meter backstroke swimming competition, under the guidance of coach Arc Angel Campos. Jerann Mamar and Aaron Selda Jr, failed to conquer their fights against Luzon fighters and Angelo Jonas Ostan lost against Visayas Air force in kickboxing male category. Ardeña's victory, however, keeps the team's hopes high. Coaches Jerry Ti-ayon and Cromwill T. Samson, from the Mangkas Fighting Club, are guiding the team showing everyone their best as they can be, and excited on what they can achieve next in the competition.
